St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea – Inspirit Salon and Spa

The project involved renovating 1,300 square feet of space next to the Cancer Center for a Patient Image Recovery Suite. The salon was designed with health and healing in mind to provide cancer patients with a tranquil and soothing environment. The suite contains a display area, prosthetics fitting room, prosthetics and wig storage, business office, massage room, and a laundry / workroom. One of the challenges of the project was configuring the space in a way that functioned well within the limited square footage allocated.
