A3C was at it again!

Our third volunteer event took place on August 29th with the The Education Project, a joint program of Ozone House and the Washtenaw Intermediate School District. We participated in a Backpack Stuffing Session at the Washtenaw Intermediate School District building to benefit Washtenaw County youth who are in need of school and hygiene supplies due to homelessness and temporary living situations. According to the Education Project, every single school district in the county is working with students in temporary living situations.

All who participated had fun and tried not to change too much in the process that was already set-up, though some of us thought we “knew a better way.” We were amazed at the amount of donations received and had some fun checking out the different backpack styles and school supplies.

Ozone House is an organization that is important to the health and well-being of our community. We were honored to be a part of helping this group, even in this small way. If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity in Ann Arbor, we recommend checking out Ozone House!

⋅As part of our year long 35th Anniversary celebrations, the A3C staff voted to

give back to the community, through volunteer events,

to show gratitude for the support Ann Arbor has given to our business.
