(ANN ARBOR – December 15, 2020) From A3C – Collaborative Architecture’s founding in 1983, Dan Jacobs has led the firm. A short 2 years later, Jan Culbertson joined the company. Both, along with Brian Winkler, have been the three main Partners and Sr. Principals of A3C for most of the firm’s history. Dan has served as President of the company, leading Educational, Religious and Municipal projects. Jan has been the Secretary/Treasurer of the firm and a multi-sector specialist working in Healthcare, Not-for-Profit and Education projects. Brian has been the Healthcare Sector Lead since joining the firm, and is the firm’s Vice President.

As 2020 brought on many changes, it has also brought a leadership change at A3C. Don Barry and Anne Cox, both former A3C employees, have returned and brought with them years of experience in leadership, organizational development, operations, and healthcare planning. Throughout the last two decades, their outside experiences are what have led each of them back to A3C. We are extremely happy to have two accomplished individuals who understand A3C’s culture of serving our client’s needs and being ready to take over as leaders. Don will be taking over as company President, Anne will be Secretary/Treasurer and Brian will continue as Vice President.

Dan and Jan will remain involved with A3C during this change in company leadership. Both will mentor and advise the firm while they move to more full-time community outreach and other pursuits. Their advice and consultation will lead to a smooth transition of leadership for A3C – Collaborative Architecture.
